If it's the USPS, the tracking number will show that it has "entered the system" the day after it arrives. |

| The only issue is if the tracking data shows the recipients address. They may not want that public knowledge. |

Yes, Zip Van Winkle only shows activity upon shipment and then at delivery. It's not so much a tracking number as a delivery confirmation number.

Not necessarily. If we continue to get new people jumping into the thread, the list will just grow. However, if participation is light, I see no problem with someone adding themselves back into the list after the box has made a few additional stops.

Edit to add...I'm playing with a couple of the pieces of crap before I decide what crap to take and what crap to add, but  Bear_Music is right. There's going to be a lucky person that's absolutely thrilled with at least one of the items....

Okay, the box of crap will be winging it's way back to the East coast and  vawendy as soon as the post office opens again on Tuesday.
What I took....
What I added....heh, heh. Someone will be happy, it's distinctly non-crappy. Something I thought I wanted, once upon a time, but then never found a use for.
BTW, I had some trouble getting all the crap back into the box. Between what Bear put in and what I put in, it's getting a bit crowded in there... |
