This is my week three and besides another 221 team and individual photos this is the only other photo I took this week. Local fire department ran off the road responding to a call on a dark slick road.

I am so glad you sent a link to that. I saw it and liked it at the time, but never got around to reading how you did it. I think I could learn how to do the edit :-) - Thanks, I thought you did it with "magical" lighting :-).

5/52 Shoe maker revisited.
A remake based on your feedback. I find im not really liking working with the lighter background so much. Ill put that away for a while I think. This time I shot in raw (opens a whole new thing for me to learn now!) and adjusted colour balance in all images used. I take it this is subject to the eye and also how it looks on my monitor which is not calibrated? The shoes however will be back at some stage, im going to aquire some more props. (firstly a piece of leather, thanks  bsluijk for the suggestion) Thank you again everyone for your ongoing imput. |

PAW 5/52: Tied up with 2 event shoots; swimming gala and night-time music concert then weekend workshops, motor racing, warbirds (military aircraft) and wildlife. I'll BBL when I can :) In the interim here is another in my African Wildlife series you may enjoy...a rare sighting indeed.

| I want to thank you for the get well comments and the pm - how very kind of you - I do have some photos to enter but editing them is something that is more time consuming than commenting and my bed calls .. I just didn't want to get too far behind as I hate to post when I haven't kept up my end. |

Sadly I have been unable to shoot at all this week and will most likely not get chance at the weekend either, but had a second image from last week that I really liked so thought I'd post a mid week entry. If the weekend turns out differently than my expectations, then I'll be happy. |
