Having received a number of comments over a couple of challenges regarding focus, shutter speed and over-exposure, I wonder if there is room for achallenges for those cameras that have ZERO manual controls!

Keep at it. There have been several photos that have placed or won and were taken with lower-end cameras.

Not the same thing, agamemnon (if you suggesting the Novice Category). I am no novice to photography, not even digital photography, but the camera I am choosing to use is lacking in any refinement. My suggestion would allow masters AND beginners to submit, so long as they used a basic camera.
