frumoaznicul's great story about "83" got me to thinking:
when do DPC'ers take their cameras with them out and about?
Always?
Most of the time?
Sometimes?
Only when I'm after a certain picture?
I'm getting to the point where I try to pick up my camera just like my car keys and sunglasses. I hate being out somewhere and having to think "wish I had brought the camera" because I see a great moment happening, or a wonderful tree, or whatever.
How about you?

Always with me, on, in Program Mode and
in burst mode (3fps) "just in case".
Never know - National Enquirer may want
a shot of a UFO or Elvis...

Since its so hot in the car , i avoid taking it with me. any solution to keep it cool in this hot summer?

| Sometimes. I worry about theft and heat in the car. I might start taking it into the office with me from now on, plus it's getting cooler everyday. |

| Since I have a pocket sized camera I usually have one. Since my main camera is not oversized it's usually with me wherever I go. If I upgrade my camera I doubt that it will be with me at all times because of size issues. |

Almost always, only exceptions are moments when I'm 100% sure I won't miss something. I missed alot already just because the camera whas in the bag, so I recently also hold it in my hand or on my neck most of the time.

Almost always. And the times when I don't take it? I feel terrible .. I just *know* I'm gonna miss a shot!

Always.
In and Out of work. At work I get called upon to take Shots of events, our Stuff for documentation and the competition's products (they won't tell me what they use these for). A lot of it goes up on the Intranet (I'm IT so that's easy).
I even take it out on smoke breaks as we are on a valley with hawks and other creatures. |

I only take it with me when I'm after something specific. The camera usually stays in my backpack close to my bed which may be a bad place to leave it seeing as how I already stepped on it twice...

Since seeing the numerous "always" replies it makes me think, maybe the reason I'm not taking such brilliant photos is because my answer to this question would be "most of the time". I think I'll make a point to start carrying it Always :o)

preety pic on profile aerogrl. we all really need camera as part of our body , right , like some parts can be hidden or exposed when we want :)
