I had a bit of trouble getting the film to take up on the spool at the start, and I do remember once shooting 36 exposures to find out it was still at the beginning of the reel, but I'm not entirely sure it was with this camera or the Yashica Electro 35 GSN, more pray than spray I say. I intend to run the cartridge through twice from the beginning anyway. The people at the lab better not take a look ;)

Ruined a couple of rolls last night. Despite clearly labled bottles, I used the fix first. Realized the blunder a minute into the development. It's George Bush's fault.

I shot a roll of 110 film last weekend in London, now I just need to get it processed - not going to be easy over the holiday period, as I have to do it by mail and that will take a while. Hopefully this 4 weeks is a very loose term, as it maybe more like 6-8 weeks :)

Sorry Ben I missed this start - haven't been paying attention until Lynn told me. Will shoot a roll this week. Meanwhile here's a set from last month of fallen trees taken with the Norita and 40mm Noritar.

Post as they come in Tom. Nothing fast about this side challenge.

Here are few from a roll I have not finished scanning. Hopefully there will be a few more. Lens was a new to me Leica Elmar 50mm f/3.5 (1956). It's collapsable, so the M2 with the 50mm becomes a pocket point and shoot camera. :) Theme, more of the same from me. <sorry!>

Got the 35mm slide film back, no leaks, overexposed generally but there are some serendipitous moments. Agfa CT precisa 100 slide film E6, managed 68 exposures on 38 frames, Voigtlander vito cl clr
lab developed, manhandled.

These are great quality pictures the way we don't do it these days anymore. We tend to sharpen and fuss so much with an entire image that we lost the softness. Great work Tom!

Just got back the scanned file of my first roll. I had the local shoppe (unfortunately that supernumerary "pe" is merited) develop and scan; nonetheless this was fascinating; lots to think about. Edits coming soon.

(Digital) images of a cigar box pinhole camera that's been in my office window for six months producing (hopefully) a solargraph. It went up on the summer solstice (June 20th-ish) and it's coming down today (winter solstice). It's loaded with Ilford black and white paper, but the paper will be statined and not require any chemical processing -- only scanning. The original will degrade after being scanned, so I only have one or two shots to get it right. Also, it will be in color -- two tones, once inverted.

The view is of PPG Place, the glass tower, in downtown Pittsburgh. The camera faces northwest, so it will mostly pick up the sun reflecting off the glass. I'm expecting a "soft" image with not a lot of contrast, but hopefully enough to work with.

Let's see what happens...

Any more? What comes through for me is the consistency of the "vision" and collective impression of the set(s). Each one still has a character of its own - deliberately planned? Whatever, nearly all of them tugs at the viewer to dig into their mystery or enjoy their less ambiguous humor, e.g. "Cappy Hamper" which even without the title makes me chuckle at the fisherman's ideal floating camper.

Indeed. Quite an enjoyable set.

Thanks Brian & Tom. Deliberately a week of my daily life on this planet, events are typically sequential but the interconnection of overlays are 3 days apart. I planned to be there, but the outcome photographically was in the lap of the Mayans.

That worked out well. . . did you rewind the film or reload another spool/canister?
