Well ive been disqualified for the second time in about four challenges for border issues. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what is wrong with this border as it looks like a solid black border to my eyes.(//www.dpchallenge.com/challenge_stats.php?action=comments&IMAGE_ID=11002). Thanks in advance D. Tobin

i think its because of the feathered/beveled edge of your photograph... nothing like that is allowed... keep it all two-dimensional..

With all of the disqualifications I wouldn't even try to use a border.

There is a lot of fuss over the border issue, and hopefully it's been resolved. I would like to state though, that it's only an average of 1 photo per challenge that was DQed for border issues since we have allowed borders on DPC. In case anyone wanted the fact on the issue, there it is.
This isn't directed toward Cub, or anyone for that matter, just wanted to throw the stats out.
15 photos DQ for border issue.
14 challenges including the 2 we are voting on now.
An even less amount were "picky" DQ's. Most were very obvious rule breakers.
anyway, there's the fun facts for everyone.

EDIT: That's out of 1505 total photos, that the 15 were DQed for border issues.

First of all, I'd like to say that I appreciate that you aren't getting too bent out of shape over this. That is some bad luck, but hopefully the issue will be resolved now that they've changed the rule. I was going to give you some feedback on your photo but can't figure out how to get to it.

I can give you some feedback too if you place your shot somewhere so I can see it.
