Felt like there were a huge number of muddy tonemapped images, and even more blurry or OOF shots..... Some real jewels scattered about too, but I was surprised at the sheer amount of stuff I couldn't even muster giving a 6 to.

I may set a new top score for the S95 with this, and I'm super happy about the favorite! (strange though, a favorite, a high score, and no comments... I guess the image is too "complete").. |

There were so many of those I can't guess which one is yours. In general it means that you have violated the rules of the zone system, and that you don't have an image that feels clean and bright, but rather your whites are probably grays, and your blacks are probably sparse to non-existent... Of course, some images were better than others.
I've voted fully, so just PM me with your title and I'll gladly give you a proper critique on the image so you can understand what it is I'm seeing, and hopefully I can give you some advice on how to avoid/fix it in the future.
ETA: Here's a rather good image, that can still serve as a minor example of what I'm talking about - although admittedly, this image isn't too muddy, just a bit, and in this case I think it's more the mid-tone contrast and vignette on the left hand side and right top.
