Or low? Another promotion for my (other) favorite photo site!
www.panachallenge.com new challenge topic:

Current challenge: #120 High or Low Angle Shot
High or Low Angle Shot. This challenge is to get members to think of using a different angle when they find a subject to photograph. Changing the angle can lift a photo out of mediocrity.

High Angle:
A high angle shows the subject from above, i.e. the camera is angled down towards the subject. This has the effect of diminishing the subject, making it appear less powerful, less significant or even submissive.

Low Angle:
A low angle shows the subject from below, giving it the impression of being more powerful or dominant.

Thanks for considering. Hope to see you there!

i get that youre trying to promote them, but i don't know if as a site owner id appreciate you posting their challenges on "my" site either. I hope people go and check that site out, but i just donno if its cool to do something like that. You wanted a comment, i gave my opinion.

ps yea i did read your original promotion, but hardly pull enough time together for here.

I find this thread rather offensive!

Sleazy and offensive?: Considering all the posts I read here asking for votes in other contests, self promotions and calls to action for personal sites/sales, along with requests for personal and finacial help.....Thats just tough luck for you. Get over it. SOME folks actually have an interest in other sites especially if their FREE. ( I'm offended you take offense at my offensivness! )HEH HEH HEH

I took a look. I found their front page way too unorganized and busy to figure out what's going on. First impressions are everything.
