Okay.....pie charts aside, did you make any money relative to your time invested?
01/23/2013 04:00:20 PM · #11
This is a good question! How much do I have to make so that is enough for my time invested?
I do it because I have fun, but the income I make with it sure helps paying my bills every month.

What order of magnitudes are you talking about? Being down 37% because you went from $50 down to $31.50 is inconsequential. Dropping $370 from $1000 means something.

That's too bad, but the overall trend is nicely up, so I expect the following months will recover nicely. Congrats!

Just out of curiosity. On average, how do you profit on stock photography and what type of people/companies buy from you
02/05/2013 11:14:30 AM · #18
Strikeslip, I hope so too!

cowboy221977, The profit with stock photography comes from selling use licenses (RM and RF). I don't sell directly to customer, only through agencies. It is the same with prints and other product. I only sell through POD agencies. As my POD stores have increase in size over the last couple of year, they have become more and more a bigger part of my income. Zazzle is almost always in the top 4 each month.

do you use the same pics on all the sites...or are they unique to each site.
02/05/2013 03:29:54 PM · #20
Yes generally I submit the same image to all sites.
