Let me commend to you that if you're looking to learn, check out the tutorials, linked under "Learn" in the right side of the toolbar at the top of the page.
Also, know that scores here are something like this:
5: fine by some people, loved by a few, disliked by a few
6: solid score, pleased more people than not
6.5: rockin' score - be very happy you really pleased the voters, as many never get a 6.5
7.0: more often than not, one of the top 3 and will earn a ribbon
DPC is a wonderful place, and people will fall all over themselves to provide honest, helpful critiques (especially if you ask in a thread), but you most likely won't be getting 8s and 9s as average scores like often appear on other photo sites. |
