...or if you want to show a bit less geographic bias - anything taken within 9 miles of London.

English countryside, country pubs, cricket on the green, monarchy.

Do I detect a bit of sarcasm in respect to the new challenge topic? For what it's worth, I agree. I can see how this one will alienate our oversees brethren.

You northerners are always whinging. If you don't like it then just get on your bike and work for the shot. You could always make a model out of matchsticks and shoot that.

So you're trying to drive up Google's hit count by not sharing what you found out? The shock value must be significant...

I get it! I get it! But then I also lived over there for a few years, so I guess that's cheating. :-)

You're really going to have to help me out here - what was there on Google that enlightened you? All I could find were some ManU jokes and the household expnediture codes from to 1999 - 2000 census.

I thought I knew what Dogman was on about but now I'm scared :)))

Why on earth would I go within 9 miles of London. We had the M25 built to keep you lot in.

"Southern Shandy drinking Puff" EXPLAINED.

Taken from the film "Lock Stock and two smocking barrels"

An unpleasant term taking into account that all Southerners i.e. people who live South of the Watford Gap, Are Middle class Toffs and only drink Lager with Lemonade in it (a shandy). Puffs meaning the same as FAG.

Northerners drink mens beer i.e. Bitter, mild or stout.

Totally tongue in cheek *GRIN*
