Hello Everybody,

My first shave when I was 16. I never had much got in touch with my father, but my mom purchase me an straight edge razor, when I happening to breed that peach hair that escort youth. I certainly did observe it as a rite of road, as mock it was with the emotional doohickey!

Regards
Sumon

The is the most beautifully contrived piece of bad english I have ever had the pleasure of reading.

By the way, my fantasy is to breed with a peach hair covered escort. Go figure.

Sumon's now the DPC go-to guy for those of us who might be into vintage shaving accessories, OR who happen to have a straight-razor fetish. Click on his signature. Cool stuff there. Badger-bristle shaving brush, anybody?

The guy is about to become an icon.

Some how he transcended spam to go semi-viral, and now one of DPC most esteemed personalities is encouraging us to have a look into his offering.

As far as shaving goes, vintage just means "It sucks, which is why your great grandfather had that ginormous beard"

I use a five blade 16$ razor and a genuine bristle brush, along with bodyshop Maca root shave cream. Blending technology with old school impracticality. When the absolute only key to shaving is wash your face with warm water and let the cream stay on a long time. patience!

and then you will discover...

"as mock it was with the emotional doohickey!"

Reading this post is pretty amusing especially since I visited a shaving store while waiting for my new computer to get upgrades installed. Never knew shaving could be so pleasurable and expensive, turns out I have been doing it all wrong for over 40 years.

I make lather from soap and shave cream, and like to start my shaving process spending some time in a steamy sauna.

To me old school method is quite relaxing.

Since we're on the subject, I went from "multi-blade-pull-the-hair-out-your-face-and-leave-you-with-redness-and-spots" type razor to old style double edged razor and it's far better! 10 blades for £5 means I can change the blades weekly at very little cost meaning I'm always using a perfectly sharp blade.

Don't knock the old style stuff, they only reason you're paying £20 for a multi-blade-plastic-enclosed-gel-edged-vibrating-thing is that's what they're marketing to you at hugely hiked prices, not because it's actually any better.

AND, I got an HM at DPC with my shaving kit!

This thread has left me helpless with laughter.
Thank you, spammer and everybody else who has responded so eloquently.
(My daddy used to lather up one of those round brushes and make funny faces
as he spread it on himself, and then scraped away with a straight razor,
revealing his own face once again.
But I never could figure out where he got the lather from.)
