I saw this on Petapixel.

Really interesting.

It's interesting to see how he does light cast onto objects and shadows of objects.

Also, keep an eye on the document size in the lower left and watch it sloowlly grow...

You haven't photoshopped if you haven't saved the work as a .PSB file. :P

Interestingly enough, it would seem that he used the Challenger disaster smoke trail... Not too sure of his good taste credentials, but his Photoshop skills are undeniable.

yeah it seems most of those photos he used weren't his.

yeah it seems most of those photos he used weren't his.


most digital artists pull from stocks sites, it would be nearly impossible to shoot the images to create that whole scene. only this place requires you to shoot your all own stuff.

I wasn't questioning the source... It was the taste, essentially the image is analogous to using a picture of the twin towers being hit by a plane... -- Questionable taste.

In one of his videos from youtube, you actually see him clone out several watermarks from the images he used.

really, i dont know that its bad taste. when did that happen, over 25 years ago? i remember that image and you do, but does the younger generation know it?
