Hi All,

Ryan Wareham left me a message on my shot saying that during voting he believed the shot was a staged prop shot - which might explain why it didn't do quite as well as I might have expected it to do pre challenge.

Entry:

Anyway thought I would share the originals, they are cropped from the RAWs to give the basics of what I wanted for my shot and you can see they haven't been tidied up all that much lol excuse the mess in our living room haha. My youngest step son and I went to Canary Wharf with the intention of shooting as many buildings as we could at different angles purely for this challenge which is why you might think there are some weird angles :)

And my stepson in his Morph suit - he actually went out like this in to town once with silver glasses on and a walking stick he sprayed silver - he knows no shame lol ;)

As you can see I moved quite a lot of the buildings around and warped some of them to get the desired effect, this was the second edit of 2.

Just thought some might find it interesting to see what images the montage used to complete the overall picture.

Peace :)

yeah, I'm very impressed with the shot after reading what you did.
I've seen several diorama images on here that people have passed off moreso as what you did, i guess i was a bit jaded when i saw this thinking it was the same.
I gave it a 5 based on that, but had i known that it involved as much actual photography and editing skills as it did i would've given it higher.
This is truly something you should be proud of working on - it was a lot of hard work that really paid off. I see that i'm not the only one who was fooled by this, but I felt, after reading what you did, that you deserved to know why you only got the score from me that you did at the time.

I think if people realized it wasn't a prop shot it would've ribboned.

I have already told you it is an amazing montage - well done!
