How about a Robert Mapplethorpe challenge. |

I like it, but I fear some of his more controversial work may be too much for this crowd. |

If we have Nude challenges on DPC then there certainly isn't any reason why we can't have a Mapplethorpe challenge. Some will dislike it immensely and oppose it but DPC is a big online community and some people are always going to get upset over something. Some religious people may object to Religious type challenges, some non-religious types may object to Religious type challenges. Some people oppose any photograph that depicts children looking a bit sad. Some people think the Horror challenges go a bit too far. Myself, i tend to greatly dislike all those Patriotism type challenges. All those photographs of flags and nobel looking generals make me feel a bit sick in my stomach so i tend to avoid looking at them. Different stokes etc

Clive, good point. I'm not interested, but then I don't have to be. Enter the challenges you like, let others enjoy entering the rest.
Go for it...

I certainly wouldn't enter it and I probably wouldn't vote on it but I'm not gonna say the site shouldn't do it. |

Some of his portfolio for those that are curious. Obviously has nudity as per the discussion.

Ha ha, this site is blocked in the UAE... typical. I'll have to check it out at home when I can use VPN.. |

Just as long as we're talking about his whole portfolio and not just the nudes. I don't mind voting on those, but I wouldn't want to be penalised for entering a statue or flower.
