Good day to all.
Just an other (new) challenge proposal to try and improve the actual camera work and not to rely on computer processing.
Show us that you are a photographer and not a computer expert.
""Best of the month with no P.P. = minimal editing""
What do you think?

I don't shoot in jpeg unless it's for a specific challenge requiring it. I think there are quite a few people that shoot that way, so minimal would exclude us. |

"Best of Month" and "Minimal Editing" exclude each other by definition. While Minimal is an interesting ruleset and the occasional foray into pure vision can be rewarding, the bottom line is "If it's not processed it's not the best it can be". Any situation where that's NOT true is an aberration, an exception that proves the rule so to speak.
Plus what Kelli said.

Yup. I don't shoot jpeg either.
I would this this was interesting side challenge if we could crop. Nature photographers are at a disadvantage in minimal editing challenges. We can wait for the perfect shot, we can do the best with the lighting that we have, and can control everything else, however, we're limited to the size of lens we have. Those who do setup shots don't have those problems.

I don't shoot jpeg, but my ghost entry is straight from camera.
Think ppl who don't know or haven't learned pp often spout this straight from camera stuff, I was the same till I learned a bit of pp skills
The thing I struggle with minimal is remembering to turn on raw+ Jpeg
Basic might be better

So is mine. Which might be why I have a score of 4. LOL! I should know better. |
