My cardboard box mini studio is gradually falling apart as there just isn't room for it in my house. I am therefore seeking an alternative mini studio light tent type thing. I used the cardboard box one with natural light or the onboard flash every time however it would be nice to have the addition of some lights.

I have seen these 4 possibilities but would be prepared to pay a little more if there is something better available. The main thing is that it folds up:) I don't want it to be too small too - so ideally at least 40cm x 40cm.

Any advice appreciated.

I made my own out of PVC tube and a bed sheet, its foldable, light, custom sized and was very inexpensive to make.

Thanks for fixing my links:)

I also made my own but it takes up too much room and as a result has slowly become rather damaged from continually getting in the way

Thanks for the Cowboy Studio link - looks like some nice ones on there. Shame it is across the pond.

Folds flat and has lasted ~7 years so far , I'm still waiting for the wife to sew the sheet so it fits nicely, but then she is still waiting for me to refit the side on the bath...

Thanks guys - haven't seen that PVC stuff before. What sort of shop do you get that from?

As you're in the UK, most of it can usually be picked up from a Do It All or Wickes shop, not sure which of those is around your area, any plumbing supplies shop should have some though.

ETA: Or a garden centre that sells ponds and pond supplies..
