this is definitely a jump, but it doesn't fit the look of "levitation" as per the inspiration for the challenge IMHO

How to take "Today's Levitation" (how I actually do)

- With a self-timer
EOS 5D Mk2 has a 10sec. timer as it's longest timer set up. This means that I can get away as far as 10 second distance from the camera after I press the shutter release button.
First, I get a composition and a focus manually.
Then I press the shutter release, run to the right position for a levitation as checking the camera's blinking red LED counts down 10 seconds and jump by my intuition.
In this manner, I need to jump over and over to get the right shot.

Poor thing, should we chip in for a remote control?

Reading this, I now know who to look for when I need to remind myself what it means to be a dedicated photographer.

Shouldn't we get an extra day to submit to this?

I must say that Natsumi Hayashi must have calves of steel. After 150 takes I didn't want to jump ever again, and she did it almost every day.

bummer that the article failed to mention that she had inspired an international photography contest as a tribute to her work.

Unbelievable. To think, the editor didn't know of what she did for us at DPC. The nerve. THE NERVE!!
