| Yeah, I run into harassing security guards all the time. Anyone know if PPA offers legal representation? |

that's a good question i didn't see anything on any of the pages but i just scanned through their web site. even if they don't it would be good to have access to lawyers that specialize in this though.

I agree with the judge in this case. The ruling was not just on the composition and processing being the same but on the past interaction the two parties had had; Houghton being aware of Fielder's image before taking and selling his own. It's good to know if you're making money from a photo someone else can't just rip you off and sell their version. |

| As I posted in the other thread. If this is limited to protecting a "brand". I agree. But I'd hate see it extend past that. Like many have done on this site, putting your own spin on someones photo and mimicking their style should not violate copyright. |

Good thing it doesn't then. Houghton is still able to sell all his other selective desat photos of red buses in London as far as I'm aware. |
