Can't we wait till we have a reasonable number of votes before we start this?
Personally I like the suspense of waiting until results post.

well my score has now dipped into the 4.7 range, but i did get a comment... they said it didn't look blue (i've rephrased, of course). now i'm worried. i took such care into doing the correct color preview in photoshop, and to think it's showing up non-blue on people's machines makes me want to cry. :(.....
i'm going to bed.
ps skylen-- my macro shot isn't nearly as good and it's still in the 5 range somehow, too.

If you are a paying member you get a button to update your scores on request. Otherwise, they are updated once an hour for the whole site, but they seem to be running late tonight.
You may also need to got to your preferences page and check the box to see current scores.

yeah, my blue picture also got pooped on...it's certainly not following the standard rules of composition (blah blah blah), but as an image i think it's beautiful.
also, i'm not sure if the background is blue in the picture...i know it is in real life but the lighting makes it more gray in the picture...we'll see.
by the way, the blue and the macro are my first entries (i just found this website today, it's great!) and i'm currently at 2.95 with 21 votes! |

With over 500 new photos, I expect that much of the commenting will happen later, and the number/photo will likely be down, especially for those in the 4-5 range who need them.

Hey, I'm helping out. I comment on more than 50% of the images I vote on. I'm on a sucky dialup 21Kbps, so when I wait 5 minutes for each image to load, I might as well be as helpful and thoughtful as possible. :-|
I vote on many less images than most people, but I do it more carefully than some seem to.

Wow, there is something wrong with the score system (Stats are currently
unavailable for this image) since I do not see any score at the moment but I'm begining to wonder what is going on since I'v already got three comments! |
