I'll buy photoshop the day one of two things happen:
1) I'm making money on my photography
2) Adobe lower their prices on the european versions of their software (according to Adobe, prices are higher in europe because we're willing to pay more... well, I'm not) to the level of US prices.

Until then I'll be lurking around the designers' workstations at work after hours.

I don't see why I should feel shame for it since it's the same as trial version, I'm not going to use it more then testing it.
I have it for about 10-15 days, and you find me the one for your inquisition journy? phh... funny.

It's a joke, the link points back to the profile of the user associated with the login session.

:)
Than it's a very good one!!
Actually, it's a true story what I wrote - I really wanted to test those programs after seeing some amazing works here (truly talented artists here).
I can't see why I should pay this amount of money just for trial..
Anyway, good one indeed.
(Trial version is OK, right?!?)

THAT turned out to be very funny! My hat is off to you Simms.

Sorry but I am a web developer and make a living from developing software so don't agree.

What you've said is the same as saying you'll pay Nikon for the D700 once you've made money from a photo! Just because software is not physical, it doesn't mean it's easy to create or maintain.

Going back to the original privacy issue... you can copy anyone's image by hitting the print screen button. And thanks to Photoshop (illegally owned, or otherwise) it would be easy to remove the watermark anyway.

Personally, I would be happy if people saw value in my photos and spread the word as advertising is something you normally have to pay for!!
