Excellent idea. I had physical therapy after my broken kneecap last year. It really helped. They know exactly what sort of exercises to make you do that will help you regain your strength & range of motion.

they have seeing a therapist, he has me 'washing the table" with a towel. making circle and long strokes with a folded towel on the table. strengthens the wrist i guess.
also the stretching out, curling in, fingers wide, straight - hold 5 secs, to push the motion range etc..
my little right has even helped me to type this! go my right hand! guess it will take months at least... i'll see the therapist monday again.
i've definitely gotten better at left handed typing.
very glad to have it back wendy. so very hard to banish those "i wish it was different" thoughts, trying to find some positivity from whatever life throws.
it may not work perfectly, but seems to be a better way to live. so, i'm hopeful for a full recovery, but i know this is a long and bumpy road.
especially to get the best results, rehab is never fun. but i know easy rehab is a harder life, so i'm ready for it.
