i've never really done a model shoot, and technically i still haven't, but my very gorgeous (and unwilling to admit it) friend and i were enjoying dinner on my deck when i saw how great the light was hitting her so i grabbed my camera and just started shooting, despite her protests and best attempts to ruin the shots. but i just kept talking to her and making her laugh and between it all i think i nabbed a few nice ones.

some of these are slightly high key with a larger dof, others and more balanced and with a shallower dof. i'm not thrilled with the background, but i was more into the light on my subject than anything else. only adjustment was auto contrast in ps.

i just love the way her skin takes the sunlight!

all comments welcome!

This one is my favorite:

It's her least self-conscious shot. Well done.
