From all the participants of WPL,
We interrupt the regular programming to bring you the following announcement:
A heartfelt thank you is in order for Scott  SDW for all of his hard work and time-involving generosity. But now it is our turn to show appreciation for what you have given to us.
Scott, please be watching your mailbox as we have some great things coming your way.
1. One gently used Canon 400D Rebel XTi (complete with4GB card and a CF card reader)
2. One 18-55 Canon (kit lens never used).
3. One used Canon EF 28-90 lens
4. One used heavy duty spiffy Tamron 28-300 lens for Canon
5. A messenger style camera bag
And last, but not least, we have collected a grand total, in cash, of $623.71 to be sent to your paypal account.
We hope that you will find pleasure in using this equipment and know that you have many great uses for the extra cash. Thank you again.

Even though I did not participate in the WPL this time, I followed many of my favorite photographers who did participate and saw how much time and effort Scott put into this side challenge. No one is more deserving than Scott to receive these gifts! Thanks to all who so generously donated equipment or money to this great guy!
Congratulations Scott! We're all looking forward to seeing you entering challenges once again.

I really am happy to see DPC is giving something back to its member because of the things he has done... that's awesome. SDW is the other half of DPC right now. He is the reason I am here as a member but not registered user, so I could enter to FSM.
Good job for both sides, I am extremely happy about this. |
