Now I can tell that a lot of people have been asking themselves this question - and to be honest I'm surprised that the forums aren't ablaze with speculation! :)

Aaanyway, I work for an expedition company (Camps International) and over the summer I went away to Tanzania as a leader - whereupon I took a jillion photos as you might imagine.

I made up a little blog on our website which has a few of my shots in which I thought some peeps on here might find interesting.

My blog

These are all unedited straight from camera btw so please excuse them being slightly uncontrasty and not that sharp.

I'll probably upload a few more of my edits soon if anyone's interested in seeing more!

You know, I was just about to start a thread titled "Where in the world is JimiRose?" when I saw this.

What a great experience that must have been in Tanzania. I guess that is something that most people do when they are relatively young before embarking on a major career or when they've retired from their major career. I missed the first opportunity but I'm going to start looking for my second chance opportunities sometime next year.

Great shots on the blog. I look forward to seeing more from your time over there.

Welcome back.

Thanks! It was an absolute blast, the students I was taking care of were awesome and had such a good time.

Fabulous, Jimi!! Welcome back. I had the great fortune of visiting Kenya and Tanzania when I was very young, and it was a transformational trip. Hope to go back again one of these days, but your images brought back memories.
