This is my stock photography sales statistic for September 2011. You can find a complete list of stock photography agencies that I work with here.

These are for me the best 4 performing stock agencies for September 2011:

1. Shutterstock
2. DepositPhotos
3. iStockPhoto
4. 123RF

I am so happy to see that all is back to normal! September had an increase of 30% compared to August and an increase of 14% compared to September 2010. It was the best month ever for PhotoDune and Photokore. Again I have to mention DepositPhotos! Only the those months that they payed for uploading are not better, but I had over a 100% increase at DepostiPhotos compared to the month of August. That is impressive!

(This statistic include referral earning at the different agencies)

I have been watching there for a bit and I am still surprised why your keeping on those small sources.... Seems you have given it a bit of time to pickup, so what's the rational for keeping them active?? I curious why your persisting with those....

Thanks for posting, but you need some checks when posting URL's. Here's a valid one

I can't speak for oboy, but for myself I often upload a certain % of my images to a new site (if it is easy to upload to and has good prices / commission) If I see the site gaining traction I might upload more photos, if not I'll just leave them be with the images they have and slowly collect earnings. I usually don't ever delete images from an agency.. making it so that I have lots of low paying agencies in my list, like oboy does.

Almost all of the lower earner accept FTP upload. So the submitting process is with most of them fast and easy. I use lightburner.com to FTP the files. Fast and easy. I title, describe, and keyword my files before the upload and embed it in the meta data (IPTC) of the file.

Many of the low earner go through waves in there income. One month they are very low, the next month they are in the midfield. Once in a wile some ELs and you have a payout. Take for example Alamy, most of the time I have no sales or low priced sales. But then there are those one or two sales per year that make up for it.

If I stop uploading to an agency then I do not delete my account or images. This gives me the opportunity to see when the agency may pickup.

With new agencies, I only add them to my list if I think they look promising, because of their background or target market.

Yeah that makes sense..... otherwise the upload/key-wording would not make it feasible.
