I just know I've cursed my score by posting this, but what the heck. I've been jumping up and down watching it take off. I've voted this challenge, and I think there are a *lot* of images above me, though. Some very good stuff.

LOL! Another ribbon, then?
Mine is slowly dropping but is a VERY good score for me (6.2!). This was my one shot at a score that would count for my team, but it won't. Still, it is the best I could do! |

As an atheist, it's perhaps strange that I should quote Ecclesiastes, but "...there is nothing new under the sun."
How do you define "original?" Sure, some ideas have been done far less than others, but truly, in some way, shape or form, very nearly everything has "been done before." When I look at this group ordered by my vote, I find that it's not necessarily the most original images that I scored the highest. I don't really care if it has been done before. It may well be the first attempt for the person who submitted it. Why should I vote them down?

Well, Ecclesisastes (Book of the Teacher), by the simple proof of time and reason, is found lacking and presumptuous in that God lacks creativity on a daily bases. I would extend that a step further and say that people can be very original as well as very lazy :-) me included.
Luckly, I only vote by deduction from 10 based on technicals that may have improved the image as far as I am concerned. So, if it is original or not, it will not affect my marking.
All in all, a challenge where every image was original would be voting heaven.

Me, too! I'm VERY happy with mine! It's not like I do this every challenge, you know. :-)
Wendy, there are some good scores on my team. I've ticked up a bit now so there's still hope I could contribute this week! We'll see. |

Not a chance in Hell for me...Mine had dropped like a stone in the past few votes. I wouldn't care but my team mates in WPL might and the BYOAKC is involved in this one as well.
Maybe I should go to bartending school... |

| my voting average has risen the past few months, it's probably more like 6.5-7 lately. with the competitive voting for wpl i'm not letting that affect my personal voting. and i really loved the images in this challenge, made me realize how lacking my entry is |
