This challenge seems off to a slow start. I've dropped a bit, but still doing well.

Great title Yo_Spiff ... The voting is brutal to my way of thinking but then again, I base that on how I vote. Even though I am on a team, I love to give high votes and I did my best to see the effort in this difficult challenge.

You have rated 77 of 81 images (95%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 4 images (5%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.1169.

I am not even breaking 5 so ........ but who can argue with voters, they have the right to give out the votes they see fit. Good luck everyone :)

I think it's the WPL effect, I started off with a couple of good scores then plummeted. My Grain shot did the same then managed to make up some ground over a few days.

Yeah totally brutal voting here, some sad folk this morning.

After reading the argument in the other thread about three friends doing something worthwhile, I'm having a hard time voting. So far, I haven't found any that meet that definition. Ok, off to vote some more.

Tha same here... I was not aiming to a 7, but a 5.6 is a little strange. Time will tell :)

About as expected, though not as well as hoped for. It's still early.

Create a photograph of a team or group of three persons or things that, working together, have or might accomplish something worthwhile

I guess I once again have misinterpreted the definition of a challenge. For the life of me I don't see where it says that the subjects have to be doing something worthwhile..I see where it says that they have could have, (past tense), or might (in the future)..

"Worthwhile" may be the key word here.
Would three men prying a manhole cover off the street be "worthwhile".
What about three cats chasing a mouse? A bird? A Roach?

I'm getting killed at a 4.33 with no comments !

got a comment that said my title should have stated how my 3 elements worked together (per the challenge description) (I am paraphrasing) am I missing something here...there isn't anything in the description about how we should title our pictures...they have in the past but NOT this time...

I haven't even received a comment complaining about my title or how my subject is not worthwhile... A classic soft *thud* of a score as well, like wet bread.
And of course, just today I saw a perfect Three Amigo scene on my into the old city...

Three things can mean three different objects with a real or implied co-relationship of working together for a common cause that can be subjectively seen as worthwhile. So that to me is very open ended and can mean that the viewer may have to create a story/connection, you have to do some work too, dont just rely on eye candy. Like an image showing a bird in a cage where the cage door is open and a shadow of a cat on the wall can imply freedom, danger and potential actions from bird and/or cat. Freedom action and cat avoidance worthwhile for bird, prey and meal for cat, the cage door performs it's utility function (cage happy?) Other scenes can be less concrete than that, means more work for the viewer. Worth a try voting like that when the dnmc gene cuts in. Yes, I have a low score, but that's not the reason for my comment, I see some struggle with voting, which is ok, no one is wrong, voting may need non technical structure sometimes.

I just thought the three things, people, etc needed to be related or interacting together in some way.

When I was shooting it seemed the hard part was getting 3 things that were working together to do something worthwhile. I thought the worthwhile part was going to be the hard part. It seems it was really a free study with 3 items. The back half of the challenge description was not the limiter I though it was. How many entries have 3 things working together toward a worthwhile goal?

...to spoon feed the relationships, intent, and worthiness of the implied, or real, action.

And finally, just how do we define "worthwhile?"
