Just wondering if for the month of September anyone would be interested in posting flowers, they are one of my favourite subjects apart from children to photograph.
So paste your name here if you want to be in.

Are you thinking of a Side Challenge? Whilst I'd love to, I'm going to be travelling for work for half of September and October and guess the two weeks prior are going to be a bit too hectic to participate. I like flower side challenges too.

Yes, sorry a side challenge. You can just post whenever.

I'd love to do 30 days of flowers (I'm always working on a flower shot). We have some great flower photogs here.
This one is a fav from 2007.

A collection looks good, at the end. If anyone wants help making one of these, I will do my best to describe how I do it.

It's more than 1 year ago since the last flower side challenge

Guess I can use some fresh flowers.
Not sure if I can make one every day

Sure, sounds like me. Thanks Anita.

I'm not sure I can do one a day, but I love flowers. So count me in ;)

Here is a collage from a Flower SC I did before

Would love to try; just may not get one in every day. However, will try to comment as much as possible.

I don't have much time for sc's anymore with babysitting a toddler 50 hours a week. But, with that said, I'll try to get a least a few in during the month.

Great response so far, I'm delighted. Off to bed now, so I hope by the morning more can join in, remember no pressure post whenever you can, we will start in September.

I am not sure how long the flowers outside will last around here but I would love to give this SC a try.
I really enjoyed the one I participated in back in 2007.

I would love to give it a go :)

This sounds like fun. I will miss a few days though. I will be gone for a week, and most the plants here stopped flowering about a month ago.

I did it last year but, with the WPL I'm not sure if I'd be taking on too much. I want to though. I know I could improve upon last years.

Actually I take it back It couldn't have been last year. It was either two or more years ago.

we'll not have that many blooms left in September, but I would love to assemble something to make a 5 X 6.

What do people feel about using previously shot flowers? Mostly stuff I haven't worked on/up? - Could still manage, I think, if not.

I'm one of the people who thinks working up shots from your archives is a good thing. Sometimes a little perspective is good. I often go thru my shots in a big hurry, cherry-picking what I think are the best ones. Then later, sometimes years later, I look over my old shots & discover hidden treasures. So, I like the idea. I'll probably be using a mix of old & new shots myself. Go for it! It's more important to be present, than to be perfect.

I like this idea, too. I often shoot flowers, but I can't be reliable about shooting/posting on a regular basis. But if you just want us to post flower pics here for the next month I'm with you ... :-)

Ok great, looks like we have enough interested, like was mentioned by pixelpigit's great to go back on previous pic's done, and alter them, esp the colour that can be interesting. It's coming up to spring now so I will have loads of colour in the garden.

I'll try to participate, but the pickings are slim here.
In other places, summer equals nice summer flowers, but where I live summer equals shriveled up dead plants

You know sometimes a shrivelled up plant can look good, try to be unique. Also look for weeds that have finished flowering, they can have a woody frame left, and they can make unusual photos, like this one.

I would like to join, I really love taking pictures of flowers and most of the time there isn't a challenge to enter them in.

That's great Jen, the more the merrier.
