Let's just say you could go back in time and you were able to take only one picture, what would you photograph?

most great events would be better off videotaped, or left to the imagination.

I'd like a group picture of the martian's that built the pyramids. It could not have been the egyptian's- its really the only thing they have built in the last 3-5000 years worth anything...(sorry if anyone is egyptian but it is true- and it also goes for peruvians- after the inca's left-what happened?)

My photograph would be of my great-great grandfather slipping on a banana peal and dying before he fathered any children.

Lott's wife as she took one last glance back at her city.A pano that would include the family looking at her and with the city on fire in the background and a long line of their servants and mules fading out into the dark distance.

I'd photograph Jesus performing any one of his countless miracles. Most of all I'd like to capture his eyes of compassion as he did so.

Nothing is wrong with the smaller ones, the Great Pyramid was the first to be built in this manor which is the true Pyramid shape, the others in Egypt are built differently and have different shapes. the Pyramids at the Giza Plateau are more of a mystery on how they were build than the other pyramids around the world.

I would photograph Beethoven, at his piano, in the dark, as he composed the Moonlight Sonata after being turned down by Countess Giulietta on a marriage proposal.

But disappointment too became a compelling force in Beethoven's music. On one occasion, Beethoven was quite miserable after his marriage proposal to Countess Giulietta had been turned down. He sat at his piano as moonlight beams trickled through the windows of his flat, unable to put his feelings of dejection into words. As happened so often, the music did it for him. It was that night that he composed the famous "Moonlight Sonata" for love of the countess.
