Some of you need to make your chocolate more apetizing. A couple looked very unappealing. :/

I guess this wasn't a very easy challenge.

I totally agree, some of the chocolate shots puts one off chocolate immediately. It was not an easy challenge with chocolate melting and the added stuff in everything you buy (tiny white dots and shiny oily substances). It just shows us how 'abnormal' professionally photographed chocolate is.

after getting my best ever score in the Balance challenge its back to normal again with the chocy pic I feel sick after eating too much but i guess the trolls are out in force looking at some peoples scores including mine. still smiling

just viewed the whole batch, feeling peckish......
why so many 'busy' photos, papers, glasses, spoons, forks, table cloths [creased ones] bottles, corks, cork screws, foil,
no cats though. thought one would have done well sniffing a hersheys.
oh well........

I started off very good with my chocolate entry, but the score's gone down a lot and I'm expecting it to drop at least another half a point. As long as it stays over 5, though, I'll be happy.

....

I do have a lot of comments, which is always fun; I started off with 3 or 4 in the last challenge, though, and only ended up with 5 by the end - so we'll see what happens.

I submitted an entry, but it does'nt appear to be in the Challenge. Bummer, not that I had the winning image, but I did go to a little bit of effort!

Yea I am not doing so good, barely breaking a 5.000 right now. But that's basically a lot better that what I expected; I was trying a new technique and my other motivation was to try and gross people out.

no cats, no flowers either I believe. But it looks like the strawberries have taken the place of the flowers in this challenge.

I'm not sure if I will vote this time. I went back to my bikini-diet after my sins to make the picture, and looking at the pictures is very very very tempting. oof.

finished doing my voting...impressed with most of the photos...really love it! gave quite a few 10s, 9s and 8s!! this gonna be close! good luck to all...i did not manage to compete in this ;)

I did not submit nothing for chocolate, but this is my first impression. A lot of good idea, but sadly alot of them are failure on photography techniques. Bad lighting, bad resolution etc....

BUT... there is still alot of great ones. Going to vote now.

Whew! Now up to 5.35 with 71 votes and 4 comments. Still fairly lame, but not as bad as the 3.000 I started out with! Yechh! My goal is to improve my average with every score. That's certainly not gonna happen with this one (WWIT?), so I'll just have to make the top-10 next week. ;-)

Don't got no update button this time, eh? Did you mean to say, "I did not submit anything...."
Ok - I'll stop teasing you now :-)

There are some very creative images in the Choco-Challenge. I discovered while working on my own submission that chocolate is rather difficult to light. For me, it either came out too dark or too orangie. I also noticed that chocolate doesn't hide it's blemishes well at all.
