Hi. I was thinking about getting this picture printed for friends of mine. If it was for you what would you have wished I did different and which aspect ratio would you prefer?

,

Thanks...

The Wide version i think. Since cropping it doesnt really remove anything unwanted. Then again im coming from the point of view of a film purist, and think its a sin to watch a film in anything other than its original format. But really the other one just seems to be cropped a bit too much and the other one seems to be framed perfectly.

Cute picture btw.

The first one seems too crowded -- he is looking at something, but there is no negative space for him to be looking into. The second one has the negative space, but it is not in the direction of his gaze so it is just sort of hanging there. Perhaps adding negative space down as well as to the right (or just down), if the original has it.

very cute candid, something I would think any parent would want.

The long format is better.
I think it could benefit if you burn the brightest background a bit.
specially around the head

I think I like the wide more as well. However, I do not have any more picture left below to give that negative space. Thanks for the comments though. Every critique helps...
