wow, a full-frame sensor built into the lens itself! the idea of a camera lens working remotely, separate from the camera really opens up possibilities. you can place your "eye" in places you could never before.
i thought of a similar idea that is almost a reality right now. by using the olympus pen cameras that take the electronic viewfinders, an extension can be used between the camera and vf and the vf can be mounted to your eyeglasses or a special frame to hold it to your eye. then you can hold the camera down very low or on a pole up high and be able to see what the camera sees without having to get your body into impossible positions. |

| Cool. And what briantammy said EXCEPT this "having to get your body into impossible positions" is what makes photography an extreme sport. |
