So I can PM you then? Although I"d fancy my chances in portrait and nude challenges, my landscape shots are rubbish - if a landscape challenge came up I'd think twice before even bothering to enter. I really could do with some help. |

but I dont know how I would do mentoring on in the style of Im really not a teacher so I was thinking this 1 on 1 would be great cause nobody needs to have speaches or articles to throw out there, just helping each other out and learn both ways |

I really like this idea but I don't always have time to shoot for challenges. I do currently have a shot in for FS because it wouldn't fit anywhere else.
Do these have to be challenge shots or just any shot in general?
I would want to be a student as I'm certainly not mentor material. |

If its not too late,I'd like to join as a student. Interested in "creativity". I have the technical background and experience to get a good focused (sharpness as well as isolation) and exposed shot. But, when it comes to the creative aspect, of getting the interesting composition and creative ideas....I have none.

Yes, just some one on one feedback/interaction is what I'm interested in...to me, your style is "dramatic light" in all genres, and that's where I'm focusing (not new for me, but for a while I lost my way...). |

| I would be happy to guide someone if they think I have anything to offer.. my main things are portraiture and wildlife with portraiture being my best I think, maybe. |

I would love to sign up as a STUDENT. I am particularly interested in Macro, Floral and Nature. I'm not hugely familiar with the more accomplished members (ie teachers), but as Macro is what I love, I really admire Rozwork, in saying that anyone who would be willing to guide me I would be most grateful. | I could use some help in post processing. So I'd like to be a student for that, really like to learn more about HDR and tonemapping. I also really want to learn more about shooting portraits and posing. |

Whatever you guys think is the best way to do this, I am open to suggestions.
I think starting with the very basics is a good place to start.

I started a PM to Leo and Sara already -- so that can be trashed now.
I like the group idea -- I'd suggest a PM thread with everybody on it. That way, not only can we learn from our own questions, but we can learn from each other's questions, as well.
Starting with the basics is also an incredibly good idea. I've learned some things, but there are probably very basic things that I'm missing.

damn, for some strange reason my browser doesn't let me send pm's anymore. i wanted to contact Adz to let him know that I wanna get started on this thing but i can't. heida, can you please send him a pm to let him know that the school starts at 7:30 tomorrow morning and that he should send me his email via pm so i can reply via email (yea, the school thing's a joke i guess). ;)
