I didn't enter because of the expert editing and wouldn't have had time to complete something spectacular.

I gave out 2 10's - one the CLEAR blue winner (IMO) and 3 9's. If you didn't at least attempt the expert editing, I voted down. I commented on a few and fav'd one.

I'm shocked and very happy with this. I figured it might break into my top two... but never be this high after so many votes.

first time entering expert editing comp. it always scared me before. still does when I see what you can do with it.

love, lets hope folk didn't use expert editing so smoothly it looks natural! :)

I am very new here but my average vote for this challenge was the highest of the four challenges I've voted in. Some very creative ideas and excellent images. Even some of the images that I wouldn't say are the best technically had enough creativeness to move them fairly high on the scale for me. And the ones that were creative and very very well executed... WOW!
Well done to the entire field.

Haven't posted one of these yet.
I wonder how long the rise can last for...

Why do this? In an advanced editing challenge, do you vote down if the person only used Basic Rules? In Basic, do you vote down if the person only used Minimal rules? Seems like the ruleset is a maximum allowed editing, and anything up to that should be treated equally.

I agree...I read advanced editing as it gives anyone the option to use it. Not everyone has advanced editing skills, and possible they did not need it for their idea. Just my thoughts.

It's only a slight drop, by one point. I think that's the point of the expert editing.

I agree with the above and I'll add that it might be possible that you can't tell if it's one image or two so you might want to give the benefit of the doubt.

Oh noooooo....If someone didn't attempt expert editing, you voted them down ?!?!? Not to be contentious but voting down an entry because the artist did not take full advantage of $600 software to expertly edit their image blows my mind.

I'm wondering now if you vote images down that appear to be "basically" edited and entered in an Advanced challenge.

YIKES !!!!

I sorta agree with love... sorta.
If expert editing could have been employed improve an image from the voter's perspective... why should they vote it as highly as they might were the challenge advanced or basic?
Which is not to say that an expert edit shouldn't face the same judgements.

Not hard to figure out. : ) I did give a few high scores to those who had good images but didn't do expert. So if you originally would have had a 9, I gave an 8. Not much difference in the scheme of things.

You have rated 70 of 70 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 7 images (10%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.7000 (not too bad)

You have rated 69 of 69 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 1 images (1%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.9130.

...and looking back over my votes it looks as though two of my top three may possibly be in "basic".

As Tom Petty would say, "And I'm free, I'm free fallin'"

Score is getting lower every time I look. I guess it's time to quit looking.

I agree...I turned off my score. Now let's see if I can stop myself from peaking.
