You could always get some practice at home, before you go and spend all that money on air fare...
I've been shooting a lot of sports and event type stuff, did a wedding on Saturday, that kind of thing. I'm finding it much more challenging than setting something up where I have much more control over all the aspects of the shot.

Still can't get to that 6 average though. Or a score of 7 :(

19/32 = 59 % in top 10%, i.e. higher then 90 percentile.
but I should be less critical on when I submit and experiment more.

I'm submitting my very first one with the "Everyday objects"
challenge. So that makes me 0 for 0 for now.
I'm using a 2 megapixel camera so I'll be lucky to finish
in the top 50. lol. Seriously, instead of top 10 or top 50,
I look for a percentile. If I finish in the top 30 percent
of all who submit, i'll be excited, since my camera is among
the bottom 1 percent.
