Interesting.... Back in the day, I used to go by "The Dancing Bear".

Sounds like some kind of Deadhead thing.

a whole lot of people have assumed my name is inspired by the Grateful Dead. Curiously, I'm something of a deadhead myself, particularly for a deaf man, and actually knew Jerry Garcia.

It's a limited pool... I was a hard-core hippie and hung out with rock musicians, poets, writers when I was young, so I knew lots of them. I had some well-known artists and photographers as teachers and mentors. I used to belong to a very good yacht club and raced sailboats seriously, so knew a lot of well-known sailors. That's about it.

And these are all older-school people, too. I haven't met anybody famous for decades, really :-) But I'm an old man, I have my memories...

nothing too complicated about my username...
I was a huge Radiohead fan from the early 90s and Cuttooth is the name of one of their b-sides. That's pretty much the name I go by on most sites/forums.

You call that simple do you? What would it take for you to call it complex?

MrHllywd07. I always liked the sound of "Mr Hollywood"...then added the 07 for whatever reason...I don't know. My friends started calling me "Hollywood" in the 90's because of a crowd scene I was a part of in a movie in Vegas, and a few appearances on ESPN. So I dropped the vowels just to make it shorter (If you don't count the Y).

Years ago I was editing a film for a creative partner/best friend of mine and he complimented my knack for detecting minute imperfections in the image and thus refered to me as a hawkeye. Later when I was looking for inspiration for a name in which to conduct business with I went with Hawkeye Films. I don't like having to remember too many usernames and passwords so I'm pretty much hawkeyefilms in a variety of places across the Internet. I've been lucky in not having to alter it in too many places for uniqueness.

Lele is my nickname, and Z is my last name first letter. Lele was not avaiable in DPC.
My real name is Maria Thereza.
I´m the oldest child in my family and my brothers and sister were not able to pronounce the R so they changed R into L, so I became Theleza, to simplify, they called me only Le, so till today they call me Le, and the rest of the world call me Lele (I don´t know why).
32 years ago, when Luiz and I got married, we sent the wedding invitation to our friends, and it was write, "Maria Thereza and Luiz invite....."
Many friends called Luiz and asked, - Hey, what happened with Lele? did you broke with her??
ok, long story.....Lele and Luiz are still married.

I got mine many years ago when those bar trivia games first came out, I couldn't think of something and was drinking Southern Comfort and Coke..

SOouthern COMfort

Of course most people now think it has to do with the SOCOM Games, which it doesn't, however my favorite gun is the H&K Mark 23 Mod 0 (known as the SOCOM) but thats a real gun and not a game :)

The End.
