Overall participation at DPC would surely pickup with a DPL3. Half of my team from DPL2 hasn't participated since it finished and the rest save for one are like me having only done a handful of challenges since then. I'm up for another round and I know my former mates are too.

| Totally interested in this (of cause) but not sure if my old team would want me as captain, I would be happy to join any team if they don't fancy it. |

| I'd love to join in but as a newbie with lots to learn I think I might be last in the line to get picked, hopefully someone will let me make up the numbers though :) |

You always have the option of starting your own team. You don't have to sit around and take your chances. Start a new line!! :D |

I agree with Cory's suggestion that the teams should be composed of a mix of skill levels. Last time it was pretty easy to tell before DPL even started who was going to clean up the wins and who was going to wipe up the rear. |
I thought that DPL teams when seeded had to include people based on their standing average or their averaged percentage of success relative to the number of challenges they have been in at the time of formation, and couldn't just include the "ringers" or perpetual ribbon winners. I read the rules last year so I guess I'm totally off there in how I'm remembering it being. I wasn't in the DPL so I was just curious.

| I have been part of a team that has always participated in the DPL...WPL...DPC Olympics... if this thread has anyway of convincing Langdon and the powers that be..that we could try again...and do the bit all over again the BUZZARDS would be interested in continuing into the competition...it does help the participation on the site...brings a team aspect to the challenges..and above all makes it fun to submit and interact with others on the site. |
