So, I just got my copy of SEP2(Nik's silver efex pro 2) I have been using the trial version for about a month now and really love it. I want to learn how to use it even more and I think the best way is to do a side challenge.
Anyone interested in this side must have one of the two versions of SEP, preferably SEP2. Post photos both in B&W and color(I've heard you can use it to enhance color photos as well) If you discover any new techniques while using this software PLEASE SHARE!!! I want this to be a learning side challenge not just a photo sharing side challenge.
If you do not have SEP or SEP 2 and want to participate, no worries. Just download the free 15 day trial version here:SEP 2 15 day trial If you already have the trial version and will run out before the side challenge starts you can call and get a one time 15 day extension on the trial.
I know this is short notice so let me know if you are interested so I can get a list going in the next day or two.

Yes, I frequently use a b/w layer with a blend mode over the color version. Works nicely for some shots.
Put me down for this. Haven't upgraded yet, but I may do so soon.

Jennifer, I'm happy to post, I fell off the SC bandwagon in March.
What are the expectations? I can't post color versions of my images because they don't exist. ;) So I'll pass if it's a before/after SC. However, if it's about posting images that were processed with SEP/2, then sure, coun't me in. |

I should have worded that better, you don't need to post a color version. I was just saying this isn't simply a B&W side challenge because I have heard you can use SEP to enhance color photo's as well. |
