The local newspaper is running a weekly photo contest. I won Week 1, and am now hoping I can win Week 2 with one of the following shots... can everyone please tell me which they like the best?

Is there a theme? Is there a reason you picked from this bunch? Truthfully, I don't like any of them for a newspaper contest because none of them are making eye contact. Just my opinion of course. ;) Do you have any where there is eye contact?

Out of the collection offered, I like the two that are close-up profiles the best. They look the most natural of the bunch.

Kelli...actually they're are NONE of her looking at the camera...the model prefers not to look directly at the camera. There's no real theme...but this was a shoot I did this last weekend and I don't have anything else to enter right now.

retake Thank you.

It's a strange set for me. Love the art direction and props, but the model is a bit disengaged. Of them I like this the best

There is something of a Mona Lisa effect going on.

i agree it like she's trying too hard NOT to look at the camera. Very awkward.

You're all right...the model had never done this before and was VERY nervous. These were taken at her boyfriends house...the first time she'd ever been to his house and it was the first time she'd ever met her boyfriends dad!!! A lot of firsts were going on...and nervousness was expected.

becuase that nervousness shows, i'd suggest an image where she isnt trying not to look.

I would take this image that everyone likes and crop it from both sides.
