Well, I know which one is Johanna's, and therefore I know which one is Leo's (he said bravely).
I've done my preliminary screening. I stacked every one I thought was a decent job in my 6 stack on first pass. I have more 6's than all the lower numbers combined, so it'll be a high scorer for me. Now for the next few days I'll study 'em, then when you least expect it, I'll bump you up to a nice, high number, if you're fortunate enough to be one of the ones that makes me go "Now THAT's channeling Manny, but with a personal stamp on it!"
I actually slotted 2 of them in the 7 slot, btw, on first pass. These two probably are going straight to the express elevator.

Very high rating challenge. I have been through it 3 times by now. A lot of good photographic craft and ability on display. But for me only one photo stood out from the crowd. I wonder how it rates with the other voters.

Very disappointed in my low score...didn't expect to win...but didn't expect to be in the 5's...climbed back up a little bit but just dropped .2...not easy to handle on a photo I really like.

| When I look at the scores here I'm heading for brown. Never was a portrait photographer and always shy away from it. Tried my hand and it sucks. Even the polite Librodo thinks so. LOL |

Yeah I know...but obviously the voters know Librodo's work better than I apparently do. I guess they have decided what should be Librodo's style...considering Librodo is scoring low as well.

I have dropped below a 6, but I still hold onto a bit of hope that I might still go up a bit.

Down to a 5.6 but this is why I love DPC. If I would just show friends and family, and even clients, they would probably love it and tell me how great I am. DPC is a much needed reality check. I can see how many of the other images are better and I can also look at them to see what sets them apart from my own. Without competition there can be no growth.
Ok now that I said that feel free to give me some 10's :) |
