As expected for a rushed last minute entry, it's meeting a total "meh" response, but my non-photographer daughter walked past and thought it was cool looking.

Same here. Currently at 4.8333 with no comments. I think I should have saved it for Free Study, because I think it is a very good image. It might have done better in a challenge where the voters don't have a preconceived idea of what meets the challenge. |

very disappointed with the low voting that seems to be hitting everyone...should get better during the week. It is, after all, just the beginning. I was looking forward to at least a 6 this morning and I really thought I had done a good job on this shot. |

| Beginning of a challenge the voting is always bad I find...think the voters have high expectations for the challenge, and then realize the entries don't quite meet the expectation. |

| Well, with all you ribbon winners getting low scores, my image doesn't stand a chance! At a 4.6 and dropping here. Ready for the roller coaster, I guess! |

From seeing the scores here mine isn't really all that bad (alhtough it's in the 4's) lol
I knew folks would find this kinda a DNMC - seems I'm getting in the habit of that here lately.

I just don't know what the warp factor is going on with all the low voting lately. The composition and the technicals are spot on and it's below a 5?!?!?!?!?

I wonder if some voters thought you only had to give half the normal score!
