I've faved a lot of wonderful images, but most of the ones I tend to revisit have a humorous bent.

I am constantly blown away by the talent here. Way too many images to even find. But like Leo, I am constantly amazed by the imagination and technical prowess of  njsabs (studio, portraits, and those ballerinas),  librodo and nico_blue (lighting), judi (epic-ness), coley (surreality), and gyaban (whatever he does). LOVE dozens and dozens of images from other folks, but these three seem to consistently have me saying "wow".
Oh, and timfythetoo for his toothfairy tutu. It is not just an adorable image, but also exquisitely crafted.

Only been here about 8 months, but this was the first picture that I had seen that made me press the fav button for the first time. So good.

I have a great number of favorites and I keep discovering more and more every day - what a great idea to post them - but the one that I saw the very first time made me join the DPC:

when you click an image, copy the number from the web address bar after ID=
then paste that number into the "Insert Thumbnail link to site image" dialog box when you write a post. |

Click on the furthest right thumbnail above your post when writing it ^ (insert link to user profile) and just type in their username.

The first photo I ever saw that made me want to come back to this site was called Not to be Forgotten by Of-Snow. taken in 2007
It was so quietly melancholy and I love it still. Now I come here daily. Best wishes to all. |

This is the first one that really caught my attention on DPC and has stuck in my head as a DPC signature image.

Unfortunately, several remarkable images are gone from the portfolios or the portfolios are gone altogether over the years. Some photographers may have chosen to cancel their original accounts and opened new ones to shed their earliest work from view...

I have to employ the way back machine and head back to the year 2003. Just 4 or 5 years removed from the end of the cold war, it was still being played out in our culture:

Who can remeber when De Sousa burst onto the scene with these incredible images, the lighting and details in here are absolutely inspiring
