Hi Guys, Ive been offered some older Elinchrom Lights for $1000,
Elinchrom 11
Elinchrom 22
Elinchrom 66
And an older Alien Bee
They were in use a few years back but the Photographer got out of the industry as he didn't want to go Digital. They look in Good condition but I dont know how useable they are with digital cameras. I want to set up a studio at some stage, Looking at his work they are certainly good lights, but spare parts also concerns me. Anyone know how old they might be and if they could be used with the D200? |

Elinchrom are a well known Swiss make, they are reliable and parts shouldn't be a problem, could you get them and give them a trial run? use your histogram for exposure.
I have some Electra brand monoights 20t yrs old still work ok with digital as film. I'd give em a go the price seems to be right to me
