Wrong picture. You forgot the hood scoop if it is a sport.
I work at a Toyota dealer, so naturally I drive a Toyota. I had a 2004 4Runner, 2002 4Runner before that, and now I am in a 2005 Toyota Corolla S. Being in the car business, you always end up changing very often, and usually to a very different vehicle than your previous one. |
I know, I know... I went to the Toyota page and did the build your own and this is what they came up with. I didn't feel like taking the time to track down the real picture. You should tell your web designers to fix it! ;)

'93 Jeep Grand Cherokee here. I've had a lot of cars. Best car, hands down, was a '97 BMW 328is... First car was a '56 Porsche, in 1966. Traveled/worked out of various VW vans for 20 years.

I drive a 1993 Toyota Camry, 249,000 miles.
1 Tune up
1 Timing belt
1 Water pump
All above done at 130,000 miles. Other than that, I change the oil every 5-7,000 miles and add gas 2 times a week. It's a great commuter car!

Let's see.
* My 1986 Camry LE engine died at 261,000 miles.
* My wife's 1986 Camry DX (original owner too) is going strong at 160,000 miles.
* Have a 1994 Camry LE here I bought that needs an engine and will be my next Camry.
Camry owners unite!

Edit: Wow, I just hit the reply button and saw more VW owners posted (guess I'm a slow typer). Here's a link to my local VW club web site with pictures of my car in case anyone's interested :-)

the fact that you have a car in college is lucky.
when i do drive its my familys '95 saab 900.
I had my own car back in high school, an 89 ford aerostar extended cab, covered with stickers, indoors lined with christmas lights and a rubber dartboard in the back, and seats in the back were fold out bed haha. that was a funny car. speedometer, gas gauge didnt work, no heat or ac, bumper was attached with a hanger. I got voted 3rd worst vehicle of my graduatin class, proud of that. |

right now a 97 ford escort,
Glad to hear that camrys are good. We've been looking at getting another rig but want to get something that will last awhile...I commute approximately 70 miles (round trip) a day, 5 days a week...so I need something that can take a beating and still get good gas mileage.

1991 Chevy Suburban 188,000 miles, the back up for our 1990 GMC Suburban 288,000 miles. Ya got to have room for a concert petal-harp, three kids, luggage, and there ain't anything that will hold more. Newer models have screwed up all the room by placing the air conditioning unit in back. |
