Somewhere quite far into the desert west of Luxor, Egypt in early '09. I remember that on this day it was bizarrely foggy. A right pea souper.

This is a view from the NYC High Line, a splendid fairly new "green" project. It's part of a great effort to include more and more nature to coexist beautifully with the City.

Couple more from NZ- From driving the first day I was there, somewhere between Christchurch and Te Anau (hence the blur on the edges).

Our power was off and on yesterday (and it was 19 degrees below zero) so am catching up today...

edited to add:In response to the comments about the darkness of the above image, this is one of the original edits from back in the day..

Taken in December 2009. Its a quick edit, so I went a little over board with the saturation.
But its heaps better than any editing I could accomplish back then

I'm finding the same thing. lots of photos that I liked, but I could not get what I wanted out of them at the time, and now I have techniques and tools that I didn't have before. That's a large part of the point of this SC.
