Since it is almost 1/3 of the votes I do hope it will stay above 6. My 2011 goal is to have just 6s on my profile's Highest Scores, it would be great to get another 6! |

Yes, in my short time at DPC this is definitely a conclusion I reached too. Just not many impressive mountains nor rocky shores where I live :/ |

| When you stop and think about it, there can be very little justification for voting 1's and 2's in a free study. DNMC can never apply, so an image can't be voted down on those grounds. You cannot give a vote of 0. So a vote of 1 implies that the voter believes the image is completely devoid of any creative or technical merit whatsoever. And a 2 vote implies that an image isn't much better. I mean, c'mon - how many images really deserve this sort of voting? |

-Image offends the voter in some way and they will always low vote such a subject on principle.
-Image is an overused cliche and voter is registering their disapproval.
-Good shot, but no personal appeal whatsoever for this voter.
-Voter is angry that their own masterpiece is pulling in the 3.2 range and this is how they deal with it.
-Voter actually thinks it is not very good or artistic by their standards.
