HI all! Spiritualspatula 21.gif spiritualspatula and I 21.gif jmickevi teamed up for one roll of film. We ended up with a few interesting shots. He used his Nikon F100 and I used my Nikon N80. 200 speed film, and we both set the speed of our cameras to 400.

I am not exactly sure what I need to do to "sign up". Would it be more than just a post like this to the forum?

Thanks!

Your in, now find a partner :)

Hi Ben, sorry to resurrect last time, but did you ever do anything with that roll of 127 I send you?

Kevin

Yes. Complete garbage. I tried another roll with that camera and it's essentially useless as is. Needs to be sealed, and the lens is too hazed to properly predict exposure.

I'm finishing up a roll for Tom. Do you want to try another format?

Here's the first of five (or so) from me and Ben's recent Olympus XA2 film swap. I'll post one each night.

I've got some non C41 35mm BW film if anybody is interested in doing that, but I'm also open to just getting some cheap color film like I did last time. I leave for vacation this Friday, so if anybody is interested in doing this, I could shoot a round of landscapes, but I need to know to bring my F100 along.

When we shoot do you shoot for normal exposure, or do you back it down by a stop so that the total exposure is correct?

Ben and I are swapping 400 speed film -- both using an Olympus XA2. On that camera you set the speed manually. We both set our cameras to 800. Then I can do drop-off processing without any special instructions.

Sheesh. That's right... Not half the speed but twice the speed. My mistake.

As Tom said, swapping 120, both 6x6.

I have a Fuji 6x9 rangefinder on loan from a friend. Anybody else have a 6x9 to shoot?

Or, medium fomat pinhole?

I have had the best luck with each partner shooting at half the rated speed. Anybody else??

Yup, same here.
