Seriously we all whine about low scores, but in the end, what it all boils down to is.
We did something, we thought of it ourselves and went out and did it. There is no greater thing than that really. Even if we end, dead last, we tried, got creative and learnt from it.
That is the important thing. |
You are right, JulietNN! It was fun to have this "puzzle" of how to do this and be creative in doing it. I may not be "ducky" with my score but, I am happy that I tried it and gave it all that I had. It was fun and it's made me want to attempt other forms of these kinds of set-up shots. I'm just not sure that between gas money and prop money, I can afford too many more of them! ;) Hubby did make dinner that night so that I didn't have to stop what I was doing! That was a benefit, in and of itself! LOL

It is incredibly rare that I ever spend money on a challenge (there was a thread a while ago about how much people spent creating their challenge images). I did on this one. But it's too expensive (and too easy) to go shopping for everything. Part of the fun for me is the scavenger hunt around the house for when I decide I need props in an image. |

Cost me $6 and almost two whole days for this. But I think I know what I was missing and it probably doesn't have anything to do with either.
It has been interesting to read the posts about how much effort people put in but in the end, it probably doesn't matter - either it's a good idea, or it's not.
