I entered my first 3 photos just to see what happens and all three were declined, the reasons were not meeting aesthetic quality, and technical problems. What exactly does that mean, the photos were the right size and didn't appear to have any blur, shadows, noise, over or under exposure (or at least to me) so why was it denied? someone please help.

Fotolia is a problem that way. At other sites if images are rejected for technical reasons, they will tell you whether it's noise, poor focus or whatever. It's really annoying the way Fotolia use one message to cover them all.

Just wanted to add, the two sites that have been best for me this year are Shutterstock and Dreamstime.
